The soft, durable and thermal inner layer provides a multitude of protective properties including hail protection and its thermal properties stop the harsh australian sun from baking the roof of your vehicle.
The outer layer is a high quality Polyethylene based polyfabric designed for a wide range of industrial and agricultural tarpaulins, covers, liners and membranes. The outer layer is manufactured from premium grade UV stabilised polyethylene giving it the highest coating adhesion of any Polyfabric. Therefore welded seams are much less likely to peel and water proofing quality is excellent, along with a superior strength/weight ratio, and abrasion and tear resistance make the outer layer the logical choice for our custom made Stormcovers

Once the shape of the pattern has been established 2 separate materials are cut according to the pattern shape. The two materials are then joined to make the overall pattern before sewing can commence.
The pattern is cross checked against the measurements sheet before being joined. As you can see from the image above the pattern shapes can actually stand up before being stitched, which illustrates the strength of the materials we use to make StormCovers
StormCovers are created using premium grade manufacturing materials. We use strong UV and rot proof thread in all Stormcovers. The edges are bound with a UV resistant Polyester webbing. We have this webbing custom made to suit StormCover requirements.
Many covers are a three piece zip on sides design for which we use a number 10 moulded zipper which is extremely tough and strong. We only use premium quality brand zippers and to protect the zipper from dirt and debris getting into the teeth we cover it with a dual layer protective shield. The protective layer is a Velcro style hook and loop with our polyester stitched to the outside of it.
To secure your Stormcover securely to your vehicle we provide straps with side release buckles and there are loops approximately every metre for which we provide straps. A typical car cover will have 3 securing points at each end (front and back) and five along each side.
Before dispatching StormCovers each cover is checked for quality control, we test the zippers for our unique three piece zip on covers.
Each edge of the cover is hand-stitched using and industrial sewing machine specifically designed for use for cover manufacturing such as awnings, shade sails etc.

We guarantee StormCovers for 3 years, this guarantee does not include damage caused by general wear and tear and mis-application of the StormCover. We provide a care & Maintenance document with each stormcover which should be read before putting your Stormcover on your Car, Caravan, Motorhome or Camper Trailer
