how to install your 3 piece zip on stormcoverStep 1
When you receive your three piece Stormcover it will be supplied in two wrapped up bundles. The largest bundle is the roof section which will stand appoximately 90cm in height by 50cm diametre. The approximate weight will be between 10 and 15 kilogrammes depending upon the size of your Caravan or MotorhomeStep 2
We suggest not putting on the Stormcover on a windy day. Its also important to install the Stormcover onto a clean and dry Caravan or Motorhome. Applying a Stormcover onto a wet RV and leaving it for extended periods of time is not reccomended.
Firstly unwrap the roof section. The Stormcover roof section is marked Front and Back. Starting at the front of your Caravan or Motorhome place the roof section onto the front top section of your RV and slowly roll it out along the roof line, unfolding the wrapped bundle as you go so that roof section is entirely covered.
Do not try to use poles of hooks to drag your Stormcover onto your RV, this is a very difficult cover application method and not reccomended. Hooks and Poles can be notoriously difficult to use, especially in even slight wind conditions.Step 3
Once you have fully rolled out the roof section of your Stormcover you now to secure it into position with the straps and buckles provided. The straps and buckles on the sides are provided to simply hold the roof piece in place whilst you unroll the side panels, do not pull tightly onto these straps, seperate straps are provided for the final securing of your Stormcover to your Caravan or Motorhome.step 4
Unwrap the Stormcover sides and lay each side out next the corresponding side of the caravan, the sides are marked front and back and left and right.
The design of a Stormcover is that the zippered sides unzip closest to your side door. So if you have a rear door Caravan then start zipping the cover on from the front. Stormcover zips are soft large teeth zippers and will glide along the adjoiing zip side smoothly, simply pull gently and your Stormcover will effortlessly zip on. After zipping on the sides make sure you push the webbing and hook and loop protective strip over the zipper, this prevents the zipper from UV exposure and also prevents dirt and debris from falling onto the zippers teeth.
Once you have fully installed the Stormcover secure the cover to your van with the straps and side release buckles provided. The straps are designed to go underneath the body of the Caravan or Motorhome in 3 places and also go from end to end. Once you have joined the buckles pull them so that the cover sits snugly onto the body of your Caravan or Motorhome.
If you have ordered a custom made Drawbar cover you can simply install this to drawbar once your Stormcover is fully installed
If you have chosen to order the optional removeable zip out door you may find access into and out of your van easier when getting prepared for your next RV adventure
Your Caravan or Motorhome 3 Piece Zip on Stormcover is now fully installed, relax and enjoy peace of mind during Storm Season.

Stormcovers were designed in Australia 8 years ago by a sunshine coast inventor and motoring enthusiast, there are now thousands of Stormcovers in use in Australia, by astute Vehicle and RV owners who trust the design and excellent weather protection of Stormcovers
A customer had a Stormcover on thier Caravan in a Hail Storm so severe that the roof of thier home was severly damaged, the Stormcover stood up the storm and the owners Caravan was un-damaged. Without the Stormcover damage would have been extensive.
